Indium Software worked with Retail Gaint, a men’s apparel retailer with ecommerce, omnichannel, and rental services, to improve the shopping experience on its website. The customer needed testing support for a highly interactive “look customizer” feature that lets shoppers create an avatar based on their body proportions and virtually try on apparel before buying.

Indium Software validated the functionality and UI of the product catalogue and look customizer, checking that apparel was correctly superimposed on the avatar and that fit, color, patterns, proportions, and product irregularities were represented accurately. Over a 3-week engagement with 2 test engineers and 1 test lead, Indium Software raised and reported 100+ bugs, helping ensure the personalized experience met the required specifications.
