Loan decisions system revamp for a U.S Community Bank

Indium Software worked with U.S Community Bank, a leading California community bank serving underserved Hispanic consumers and small businesses, to revamp its consumer loan decision system. The bank needed to integrate new APIs, move the system to the cloud, and improve the platform’s UI, performance, scalability, extensibility, and maintainability across all branches.

Indium Software rewrote the loan decision system in Java, using AngularJS and Spring MVC for a richer interface and better performance, while reusing the existing MS SQL Server database to avoid migration effort. Working in agile sprints and closely with the bank’s business team, Indium Software delivered the API updates successfully, earned strong praise from senior management after UAT, and secured follow-on work for a cloud-based commercial loan solution.
