Load Testing of a high access demanding Enterprise Application

Leading IT Service Provider, a specialized Oracle Enterprise Application services firm, needed to stress test an Oracle cloud-based ERP access center that handled user access, OAuth-based authorization, and session management. The challenge was to verify whether the application and existing infrastructure could support very high login demand, scalability, and availability for a large user base.

Indium Software used JMeter along with Oracle DB and OAM to perform functional analysis and load/volume testing, generating up to 100 logins per second and simulating 400K unique user credentials across multiple ramp-up scenarios. Indium Software reported max/min authentication rates, shared performance analysis and recommendations, and delivered detailed test and summary reports over a 4-week engagement with a 3-member team.
