Functional Testing of a Financial Services Application

Asset Management Holding Company, a publicly owned asset management firm, needed stronger testing support for its Eagle implementation across downstream systems such as Charles River, RDC, XSP, SIRS, Electra, and Vermillion. The company lacked an effective program-level test strategy and needed a proven methodology and test process for the IMSR program. Indium Software provided functional testing services using Microsoft Test Manager.

Indium Software assessed the Eagle integration landscape and translated findings into a QA process with functional testing, RTM implementation, reusable test assets, smoke/sanity suites, data quality validations, and risk-based impact analysis for Wave 2. The engagement also covered manual, expanded, and new release regression testing, resulting in a comprehensive test framework and standardized processes for release management, test data management, defect management, and knowledge management.
