Hai Phong City, Vietnam engaged Indio Networks to help VNPT roll out a scalable, monetizable public WiFi network across its downtown landmarks (Opera House, central park, bus stand, convention centre and nearby beach). The city needed 100 rugged outdoor access points, centralized management, captive-portal advertising and policy controls to limit speed/time per user while discouraging multiple logins.

Indio Networks deployed 100 outdoor Smart APs and a centrally managed WiFiLAN Cloud dashboard with a custom captive portal and ad‑injection capability, plus remote monitoring, bandwidth/policy management and staff training. The network went live in three months, serving ~300,000 residents with over 50,000 unique logins per day and up to 1 TB of downloads on busy days, reduced fault calls and faster incident response, and generated ad revenue through in‑session/interstitial ads.
