Indicio implemented a solution that involved identifying seasonal patterns and the manufacturer-specific leading indicators using a Lasso model. They then built and weighted a large number of multivariate econometric forecast models into one optimal forecast. This approach provided a 57.7% improvement in forecast accuracy, enabled the detection of market shifts 1-2 months earlier, and established a globally aligned, structured forecasting process for the customer.
