Chiquita, the global banana brand, appointed Indicia Worldwide as its lead creative agency. The challenge was to devise a fresh in-store and digital promotion across Europe and the US to drive brand awareness and increase purchase frequency. The campaign specifically needed to secure shelf space, engage consumers with simple mechanics, drive sales, and reinforce Chiquita's "We are Bananas" brand positioning.

Indicia Worldwide created the "Fuel the Fun" campaign, a contest that invited children to design Chiquita's iconic blue sticker for a chance to have their artwork featured on millions of bananas and win an iPad Pro. This multi-channel campaign was activated through POS, OOH, and Facebook across five markets. The campaign saw a huge response, with Italy being the most successful market, and successfully drove both awareness and entries while reinforcing the brand's playful image.
