The customer, Captain Cook Square, sought a scary interactive Halloween event to engage families and the public. Vendor Independent Events was enlisted to provide a shopping entertainment activation to meet this challenge.

Independent Events created an enormous haunted ship named Cook’s Ship, staffed with in-character pirate brand ambassadors who told stories and led spooky crafts. Over the two-day activation, the vendor saw over 750 children and families, with 330 participating directly in activities and 350 public interactions recorded. The event received considerable positive feedback for its interactivity and impressive character outfits.
