Manchester Credit Union is a member-owned financial cooperative serving communities across Greater Manchester and surrounding areas. The credit union was using a heavily manual back office process for online transactions, requiring staff to update transfers and withdrawals three times a day, and relying on third-party email tools to communicate with members. It needed a more efficient way to serve members digitally while improving communications and support.

Incuto provided Manchester Credit Union with its banking platform, including Buzz, the Member Area, and Faster Payments functionality. This enabled automated withdrawals, instant access to funds, and built-in member communications, reducing manual workload and freeing staff to focus on more personalized support. The results included automating around 40,000 payments per month worth £1.6m, saving about £15K a year in staff time, and facilitating £54,000 in online withdrawals in the last financial year.
