Scaleform Corporation, maker of the Scaleform GFx UI and graphics engine, faced long build-and-package cycles across 86 configurations and 10 installers in its distribution pipeline. Building on a single 3.4 GHz machine took about 2 hours 40 minutes and packaging just over an hour, creating nearly four hours of downtime per test cycle. Compile time fell from 2 hours 21 minutes to 40 minutes (a 71% reduction), packaging dropped from 1 hour 3 minutes to 8 minutes (an 88% reduction), and total building+packaging time went from 3 hours 24 minutes to 48 minutes (about a 78% reduction), dramatically accelerating Scaleform’s test cycles and releases.
