Retalix, an NCR Company, needed a way to speed up a complex software testing process for its POS platform. With around 30,000 unit tests to run each cycle and lengthy integration test setups in its CI process, the team faced slow releases and limited scalability. Using Incredibuild agents, Retalix distributed unit tests across available cores so developers could run the full suite in parallel from their own machines. This cut unit test execution time from 2 hours to 12 minutes and reduced overall debug builds from 50–70 minutes to about 10 minutes, while integration tests dropped from 50 minutes to 1.2 minutes.
