Improbable, a British distributed-simulation company with more than 35 developers building SDKs and tutorials for SpatialOS and Unreal Engine, faced slow C++ build times—up to an hour for a full SDK build—and needed an acceleration solution that supported cloud, office, and remote workflows. Improbable implemented Incredibuild on Google Cloud Engine (spinning up agents via VPNs/proxies), used it across local and cloud networks, and integrated it with TeamCity for CI builds. Incredibuild cut full SDK compilation from about 60 minutes to roughly 10 minutes, boosting developer efficiency across the team and enabling faster iteration and delivery.
