GeoTeric, a desktop application company focused on seismic interpretation and 3D geology modeling, was struggling with very long build times across a large C++ codebase of more than 35,000 files and 2 million lines of code. Before using Incredibuild, builds took about two hours, which made it difficult to adopt agile practices like automated testing and continuous integration.

By implementing Incredibuild, GeoTeric was able to speed up compilation, add 2,000–3,000 unit tests, and move to continuous integration with TeamCity. Build times dropped to under 15 minutes overall, while CUDA compilations were cut from 10–20 minutes to 3 minutes, helping the team run 10–20 builds per day and iterate much faster.
