Case Study: Broadcom achieves instant access to analytics and higher employee productivity with Incorta

A Incorta Case Study

Preview of the Broadcom Case Study

As Broadcom’s “Go-To” Analytics Platform, Incorta Speeds Access to Information and Improves Employee Productivity

Broadcom, a global semiconductor leader, faced a pressing analytics challenge: business users needed fast access to insights from billions of rows of data spread across systems like Oracle ERP, Workday, Model N and Excel, yet new reports and dashboards often took 6–12 weeks to deliver despite heavy investment in a traditional data warehouse. To meet a company-wide “do more with less” initiative, Broadcom selected Incorta’s analytics platform to speed analysis and enable self-service access.

Incorta implemented its Direct Data Mapping analytics platform to aggregate complex data in real time, integrate with Excel, and preserve source security, enabling business users to build reports themselves. The results: report development shrank from 8–12 weeks to instantaneous self-service, runtimes fell from up to two hours to seconds, new analytical apps are delivered in days instead of months, and IT overhead and total cost of ownership were significantly reduced—dramatically improving Broadcom’s productivity and post‑acquisition analytics.
