Oklahoma City Office of Emergency Management - Customer Case Study

The Oklahoma City Office of Emergency Management faced the challenge of planning for the Oklahoma City Memorial Marathon, an open access event with over 75,000 participants and attendees. They needed to generate accurate ICS forms and Incident Action Plans for coordination across more than a dozen agencies and 530 personnel while maintaining situational awareness across multiple event routes. To address this, they turned to Incident Response Technologies, Inc. and its RhodiumSE solution.

Incident Response Technologies implemented RhodiumSE's Enhanced ICS Forms, which automated the transfer of information between forms to ensure accuracy and drastically sped up the creation, review, and approval of the IAP. The map-based display provided command staff with real-time situational awareness, tracking incidents and generating a heat map of activity. This allowed for proactive repositioning of personnel and provided valuable data for future event staffing, ultimately improving operational speed and accuracy.
