A Incident IQ Case Study
Rankin County School District, the third largest K-12 district in Mississippi, needed a more robust way to manage more than 19,000 student devices across 28 schools. The IT team wanted a platform that was easy for staff and students to use, but also included asset management inside the ticketing system and integrated directly with PowerSchool and other existing systems. Incident IQ was selected to help solve these challenges.
With Incident IQ, Rankin County School District combined asset management and help ticketing in one platform, using automations, direct integrations with Jamf, PowerSchool, and Google Devices, and a simpler ticket submission workflow. The district also used the system to power its student tech team program, routing low-level issues to students while keeping complex requests with IT. Incident IQ gave the team real-time visibility into device and ticket data, reduced time spent switching between systems, and helped leaders spot bottlenecks and work more proactively.
