IN2 Innovation designed the IB Pulse, a smaller, user-friendly, and durable battery tester that streamlined the testing process with a simplified digital interface and physical controls. This solution made testing faster and improved communication of results to both technicians and consumers. The measurable impact included a 73% on-the-spot battery purchase rate when a test failed, and the product won the 2019 Design Transformation Award. The project also established a new visual brand language for Interstate Batteries' expanding product line.
