TDG Logistics is a UK-based transportation and supply chain company with 1,400 staff across 85 offices that relies on multiple applications (including AS/400) to manage operations. A growing number of strong passwords led to frequent lockouts and roughly 400 monthly helpdesk calls for password resets, creating frustration for users and a mandate from IT to cut helpdesk costs.

Working with partner Logicalis, TDG deployed the appliance-based Imprivata OneSign single sign-on solution in a phased rollout, enrolling all 1,400 users. The SSO and self-service reset capabilities delivered seamless application access, simplified password management, eliminated many password-reset calls, and are projected to save about £8,000 per month in helpdesk costs.
