King’s Daughters Medical Center, a 99-bed hospital, faced challenges in streamlining clinical care and improving the efficiency of medication administration. They sought to encourage the adoption of clinical mobile devices to provide more face-time with patients. To address this, they worked with vendor Imprivata and its reseller, Forward Advantage, to implement Imprivata Enterprise Access Management and Imprivata Mobile Device Access.

The solution from Imprivata extended their single sign-on workflow to new Zebra clinical mobile devices, providing fast and secure access. This integration led to widespread adoption of the devices by clinicians, with some areas using them for close to 100% of medication administration. Nurses saved valuable time, with one therapist reporting his time was cut in half, resulting in greater clinical efficiency and enhanced patient care.
