OhioHealth’s Dublin Methodist Hospital is a 94‑bed (expandable to 300) not‑for‑profit facility designed to be an all‑digital, paperless healing environment serving nearly 2,000 physicians and staff. The hospital needed to secure electronic records and medication workflows, meet HIPAA and Ohio Board of Pharmacy mandates (including transactional two‑factor authentication), and increase clinician efficiency without adding administrative burden.

Dublin Methodist implemented Imprivata OneSign single sign‑on and ProveID strong authentication, integrated with McKesson Horizon applications, giving nearly 2,000 users fast access to 150+ clinical apps via biometric and other two‑factor methods. The result was quicker application and data access, improved clinician efficiency and patient care, elimination of unsafe login workarounds, and compliance with state pharmacy authentication requirements.
