Freeman Health System, a Joplin, MO–based network with 3 acute care hospitals, 70+ clinics and 5,000+ staff, needed to speed clinician authentication and tightly control third‑party access while meeting stringent cyber insurance requirements. Managing thousands of internal and external users across a complex environment made fast, secure logins and vendor oversight an operational and compliance challenge.

Working with Imprivata, Freeman implemented OneSign and Confirm ID for badge‑tap SSO and MFA, SecureLink for monitored vendor access, and FairWarning for privacy auditing, creating centralized identity management and visibility. The rollout cut average login time by 18 seconds (from ~20s to 2s), saved up to 7,000 clinical hours per month, enabled a large VDI deployment, and satisfied insurer security requirements.
