Sara Lee, a global consumer goods company, needed to support a Euro 2.1 billion divestiture of its Household & Body Care units across 38 countries and every time zone. The 18-month deal required secure, time-critical access for 1,500 active deal managers and some 3,000 potential investor users to review more than 300 GB of sensitive data, so Sara Lee engaged Imprima to provide Virtual Data Rooms for due diligence and asset management.

Imprima deployed its VDR platform, creating 18 separate Imprima VDRs and using its Permissioning System to let 1,500 deal managers control access for all 3,000 users, while delivering continual online training for 150 users and 24/7 project support alongside Deloitte. Imprima’s solution handled the full 300 GB dataset across 38 countries, enabled secure, auditable access at scale, and helped Sara Lee complete the transaction efficiently over the 18‑month period.
