High Speed Two (HS2) needed to share the hybrid High Speed Rail Bill for Phase One (London–West Midlands) with the press, MPs and the public, and required a fast, secure electronic solution. Imprima was chosen to provide a Virtual Data Room and bespoke development to meet extremely tight deadlines, implement a bespoke payment and automated purchase notification system, optimise large-scale maps, and create an offline distribution package of more than 3,500 USB sticks.

Imprima optimised and compressed thousands of sensitive files, indexed them to mirror HS2’s website structure, and mapped the content onto 3,500+ USB sticks while also building a bespoke, secure online payments gateway based on Imprima VDR. The work enabled the first-ever electronic deposit of UK legislation, delivered public access to the Bill and supporting documents, and met HS2’s distribution and security requirements within the project’s tight timeframe.
