Rowden delivers Mimic in 6 months with Impressit

Rowden, a UK engineering company specializing in sensing and information systems for national resilience, needed to accelerate the development of the operator-facing software for its Mimic RF decoy product. The challenge was to deliver a robust and intuitive web application for generalist operators under an accelerated timeline without diverting the internal team's focus from core hardware and embedded systems engineering. To meet this challenge, Rowden partnered with the vendor Impressit for front-end engineering support.

Impressit embedded into the programme to implement the production-ready web application, working in short development cycles alongside Rowden's internal team. The solution delivered by Impressit provided operators with clear device visibility and reliable performance in constrained environments. As a result, the first Mimic units achieved a 10/10 usability score upon deployment, were exported to six European countries within months of launch, and post-launch updates were delivered on a rapid release cycle.
