Alertive, a U.S.-based digital healthcare company founded in 2017, provides a remote patient monitoring app for senior patients that tracks key health indicators and connects patients with their doctors. As the platform grew, the team needed help stabilizing and extending the backend, uncovering bottlenecks, and preparing the system for a larger architecture migration while handling sensitive medical data securely and reliably. Impressit improved Alertive’s backend using Node.js, TypeScript, AWS, Azure DevOps, and Terraform, and then expanded into cloud engineering, DevOps, and distributed architecture. The team helped plan and execute a migration to a new architecture, introduced failover processes and best practices, and fully managed the backend going forward while producing detailed documentation.
