Bird’s Nest Yakitori & Bar, opened by Marie Yokoyama and Emi Kamada in 2013 in Brisbane, outgrew its handwritten paper dockets as customer demand rose—especially after winning Channel 9’s The Hotplate. The owners needed a simple, flexible POS that could speed up service, manage orders accurately and provide robust sales reporting.

Impos was engaged in February 2014 to replace paper dockets with an integrated POS that electronically sends orders to the kitchen, tracks sales and runs time‑range reports; the system was later upgraded to smaller, faster terminals. About 15 staff now use Impos daily, delivering clear efficiency and cost savings: sales increased ~35.8% and operating profit rose ~78.4% since 2014.
