NTT ingests 100k+ events/sec with Imply for real-time traffic visibility

NTT, a global telecommunications provider, needed to deliver real-time network visibility across one of the world's largest tier-1 IP backbones. To address this challenge, they selected Apache Druid through the vendor Imply to power their analytics application and provide observability for their global traffic.

Imply implemented a solution based on Apache Druid that ingests over 100 thousand events per second. This enabled NTT to provide both technical and non-technical users with the ability to explore traffic trends and build custom dashboards using Imply Pivot. The results included Druid requiring fewer resources for ingestion, storage, and querying compared to time-series databases, delivering significant operational efficiency.
