Case Study: Vietnam Government achieves resilient protection against automated web attacks with Imperva SecureSphere

A Imperva Case Study

Preview of the Vietnam Government Case Study

The Vietnamese Government Builds a Powerful Defense against Automated Web Attacks

The Government of Vietnam’s centralized Web Portal, managed by the Government Office, publishes legislation, ministry news and services for citizens and international users. Concerned about automated threats—application DDoS, bots and malicious IPs—that could steal data or disrupt access, the security team needed a solution that was accurate, easy to manage, fast to deploy and provided actionable reporting for forensics.

The Government Office deployed Imperva SecureSphere with ThreatRadar reputation services, using Dynamic Profiling and a transparent inline configuration to quickly learn the site and apply protections. The WAF blocked known malicious sources and automated attacks, provided detailed alerts and custom reports for investigation, and became the cornerstone of the portal’s security, ensuring continuous availability and simplified management.
