A Impero Case Study
RMIG, a global manufacturer of perforated metal products, faced a challenge with its outdated and siloed financial closing processes. The lack of a standardized, digital system for internal controls across its 14-country organization made it difficult for CFO Jette Lykke Møller to maintain oversight and manage risk during month-end closing. To address this, the company partnered with vendor Impero to begin a digital transformation journey.
With the help of Impero's consultants, RMIG conducted workshops to streamline its processes, moving from approximately 80 disparate tasks to a system with 20 defined controls. The solution provided by Impero delivered a comprehensive digital overview, standardized procedures, and documented controls for the first time in a decade. This has resulted in greater transparency, reassurance for management, and a foundation for RMIG to accelerate its reporting and pursue further digitalization in areas like ESG.
