A Impero Software Case Study
West Rusk County Consolidated ISD, a K–12 district in New London, Texas with 19 buildings, ~1,100 students and ~800 devices, faced a growing management burden for mixed Windows, macOS, Chrome OS and iOS environments and had no consolidated network or classroom management tools. They selected Impero Software’s Impero Education Pro (one of the vendor’s earliest U.S. deployments) to provide a single solution for device inventory, classroom controls and remote support.
Impero Software implemented Impero Education Pro across the district, giving IT staff inventory, remote viewing, event logs, web white/blacklisting, keyword alerts, and power/patch management. The district can now diagnose and fix machines remotely across 19 sites (managing ~800 devices), reduce on-site visits, schedule updates and shutdowns to cut energy and cooling load, tighten classroom control, and even detect and document safety incidents via screenshots — delivering measurable time savings for the IT team and operational cost reductions.
