A Impero Software Case Study
The Community Schools of Frankfort is a Pre-K–12 district in Frankfort, Indiana serving about 3,200 students across four campuses with 2,000+ devices (roughly 1,500 Windows desktops, 300 Chromebooks and several iPads). Prior to 2016–17 the district relied only on the free version of TeamViewer and had no remote network management, classroom management or internet-safety solution as it planned a 1:1 Windows rollout. To address these gaps the district adopted Impero Software’s Impero Education Pro.
Impero Education Pro was rapidly deployed to desktops and quickly adopted by teachers and IT staff, allowing remote software installs, MSI deployments, inventory reporting, centralized classroom control and scheduled power management. As a result — per Director of Technology Debbie Bracken — the district eliminated many building-to-building trips, cut startup/login time for online testing (saving about 15–20 minutes per session), and achieved significant electricity and labor cost savings. Impero Software’s solution consolidated multi‑platform management and delivered measurable time and cost reductions.
