A Impero Software Case Study
Richmond County School System in Augusta, Georgia — a district of 57 schools serving about 32,000 students with roughly 19,400 devices — faced limited IT staffing, inconsistent classroom monitoring (Netop Vision was used only sporadically), frequent student attempts to bypass filters, and an inability to provide efficient remote support. Seeking a district-wide, consolidated solution, the district turned to Impero Software and its Impero Education Pro product.
Impero Software deployed Impero Education Pro starting at the central office and rolled it out across schools, providing remote login and power management, live thumbnail monitoring, screen broadcasting, screenshot/recording and keyword detection. The implementation has saved technician time by enabling remote troubleshooting across all 57 schools, improved student behavior and classroom focus through monitoring and screen controls, and strengthened online safety for the district’s 32,000 students and 19,400 devices.
