Pottsboro Independent School District, serving 1,430 Pre K–12 students across 3 sites with a 1:1 device program (about 1,800 devices), needed a more robust way to manage and secure student laptops and support heavy Canvas usage. After finding DyKnow limited, Pottsboro turned to Impero Software and deployed Impero Education Pro to provide combined classroom management, network management and online safety across the district.
Impero Software’s Impero Education Pro gave teachers and IT staff live thumbnail views, keyword detection and centralized troubleshooting (replacing several prior processes), enabling faster interventions for bullying, self‑harm and policy violations and allowing counselors to act on captured incidents. The district reports time savings for tech support, broader classroom focus and the ability to lock down off‑task students — outcomes that have improved oversight across 1,800 devices and, in their words, made “capturing just one incident that prevents suicide…worth the cost of the product.”
