A Impero Software Case Study
Gilchrist County School District, a K–12 district of about 2,700 students with roughly 3,000 devices, had implemented a 1:1 Windows device program but lacked centralized monitoring and classroom management across most labs. Working with distributor STS Education, they chose Impero Software’s Impero Education Pro to give teachers and IT better visibility and control.
Impero Software deployed Impero Education Pro district‑wide (pushed to hundreds of machines with no IT input), delivering real‑time thumbnail monitoring, remote control of 30–100 machines at once, one‑click classroom tools (screen lock, website push, USB blocking), keyword detection and activity logs, and power management (machines auto‑power on after 15 seconds). The implementation sped up deployments, saved IT time, helped keep students on task, and provided reliable, measurable management across the district’s 2,700 students and 3,000 devices.
