Fox Creek High School, a 700‑student secondary school in the South Carolina Public Charter School District, faced limitations with its previous classroom-management tool (AB Tutor): IT staff could not remotely restart or fully troubleshoot machines, teachers lacked robust classroom control and file transfer, and the school wanted better ways to redirect student attention and identify at‑risk students. To address these gaps they turned to Impero Software and its Impero Education Pro solution.
Impero Software deployed Impero Education Pro (installed by the school’s Technology Director in about an hour) to provide remote troubleshooting and inventory, live thumbnail monitoring, one‑click classroom controls (mass log on/off, lock screen), and keyword detection. The result: all 700 devices are managed centrally, teachers can quickly redirect students and enforce disciplinary action via restricted groups and activity logs, IT can resolve issues remotely, and keyword alerts have already identified vulnerable students (including suicide‑related flags that led to counselor intervention), improving safety, support turnaround and instructional time.
