Coffee County Schools - Customer Case Study

Coffee County Schools, a K–12 district in Manchester, Tennessee with 10 campuses, 4,500 students and about 2,500 Windows PCs, struggled to manage and update devices with only two IT technicians while using Smart Shield, which lacked remote administration. To reduce travel time, improve software updates and speed virus response, the district selected Impero Software’s Impero Education Pro (adopted while still in beta).

Impero Software implemented Impero Education Pro’s remote control, grouping, Mimic Script and history features so the IT team can update labs and troubleshoot remotely. As a result, one technician can update all eight middle-school computer labs simultaneously in minutes, virus outbreaks are pinpointed and contained quickly, and routine updates are run centrally—saving substantial time, reducing downtime and streamlining management across the district.
