Ubimo, a New York–based mobile location DSP, faced rising concerns about mobile ad fraud and wanted to ensure it was buying only high-quality in-app inventory for its brand clients. The team sought to identify which ad exchanges delivered the cleanest supply and to independently validate the integrity of its own campaign traffic to reduce wasted spend and provide clients greater confidence.
To do this, Ubimo ran a blind, randomized two‑week test with Forensiq, an industry-leading ad‑fraud detection platform, using Forensiq’s Quality Rating based on Invalid Traffic (IVT). Of the five in‑app exchanges tested, MoPub ranked highest (Premium, risk ratio <2%), allowing Ubimo to validate its traffic quality and begin optimizing bidding algorithms to favor the highest-quality exchange.
