Welsh Government develops 140 senior leaders and 75 high potentials with Impact International

The Welsh Government faced a significant change agenda driven by internal mergers and needed to develop leadership capabilities across three distinct tiers: its management board, a senior management faculty of 140 leaders, and a pool of 75 high-potential future leaders. They partnered with vendor Impact International to implement a series of transformational leadership development programmes.

Impact International designed and delivered bespoke solutions for each group, which included 360-degree feedback, facilitated board meetings, coaching, and a pioneering shadow board scheme for the management level. The results were the successful shaping of a new culture, strategic direction, and set of group behaviours for the Welsh Government.
