Wates boosts leadership skills with Impact International in a 5-day programme and 6-8 month follow-up

Wates, one of the UK's largest family-owned construction services companies, approached Impact International with a challenge. They needed to develop a leadership programme for their high-performing middle managers to balance technical training with key leadership competencies and aid their transition into senior roles.

Impact International designed a two-part solution featuring a five-day residential programme and a follow-up module. The programme used peer feedback and business-specific projects to develop practical leadership skills. As a result, a number of the business projects entered implementation, adding tangible value to the Wates Group and successfully transferring learning back into the workplace.
