UGL/DTZ, a global leader in outsourced engineering, construction, asset management, maintenance, project management and property services, needed greater clarity and consistency in people management practices and leadership across its global operations. To address this, it worked with Impact International and its People Manager Programme (PMP) for managers with limited formal people management experience.
Impact International delivered PMP as a blended learning journey combining pre-work, a three-day face-to-face programme, and ongoing online tools and resources. Since 2012, 189 participants have completed the programme across Australia, New Zealand, Singapore and the UK, with an average 27% improvement in core skills and measurable gains across all learner objectives. UGL/DTZ also reported better employee retention and fewer claims, alongside improvements in areas such as coaching, difficult conversations, performance management and collaboration.
