ScottishPower, part of the Iberdrola Group and headquartered in Glasgow, needed to develop tomorrow’s leaders for a rapidly changing energy business. The company wanted leadership capability that combined courageous leadership, business strategy understanding, and stronger personal strengths and emotional intelligence. Impact International worked with ScottishPower on an integrated leadership development programme for future leaders.

Impact International designed an interactive leadership journey combining executive coaching, experiential learning, business speakers, and a business simulation, supported by cultural immersion, tailored challenges, a steering group, and a web portal. The programme has been very positively received, with participants welcoming the move from theory to action and facilitators helping groups learn through constructive feedback. While no hard metrics were provided, ScottishPower reported an overwhelmingly positive response from the first modules.
