Scottish & Newcastle plc wanted to develop a group of high-potential international graduates through an accelerated programme that would build business skills, personal impact, leadership capability and transferable learning. To meet this challenge, they worked with Impact International on a development programme that combined learning with a real-world consultancy assignment.
Impact International partnered Scottish & Newcastle with Turning Point for a 12-month project in which the graduates created a social awareness campaign, eventually developing the viral game “You are Joe.” The programme delivered practical experience in project management, influencing, leadership and communication, and the organisations reported a sustainable ongoing partnership, stronger understanding of responsible drinking, and real value for service users and the business.
