Play, one of Poland’s fastest-growing mobile operators, partnered with Impact International as its rapid expansion created a need to strengthen and share its organisational culture, values, and competency framework. The company wanted a universal benchmark for employee attitudes and behaviours, and needed a training approach that would help 70 key managers understand competencies and apply them in practical ways.

Impact International designed and delivered Challenger, a modular development programme focused on Play’s core organisational competencies, and later expanded this into the two-year Play for Future Academy with tailored tracks for different management groups. The programmes helped managers understand and work to Play’s competency model, reflect on their leadership style, improve performance and efficiency, and support a stronger corporate culture; over the three-year collaboration, Play says the initiatives helped move the business to the next level and contributed to its “Best Telecom Team” ambition.
