Energus boosts emerging talent development with Impact, with 98% rating the experience valuable

Energus, an organization in the energy and utilities sector, partnered with Impact International to develop the capabilities of its cyber security apprentices and graduates. Their challenge was to prepare this emerging talent to work as highly effective teams, enabling them to meet current business challenges and shape future solutions for the nuclear industry. The goal was to develop a network of personnel with strong behavioural skills, confidence, and the ability to be the best version of themselves in varied work environments.

Impact International designed and delivered a custom three-day outdoor development programme in the English Lake District. The solution used challenging outdoor projects like ghyll scrambling and mountain climbing to push participants out of their comfort zones and develop agility for complex environments. The programme was a resounding success, with 98% of participants rating the experience as valuable, 95% gaining useful insights, and 94% believing they could immediately apply what they learned at work.
