Diageo, the world’s leading premium drinks business, wanted its Global Travel Middle East team to take part in a practical community project that would support its “enriching communities” strategy while making use of the team’s skills and expertise. Impact International was brought in to design a one-day Community Action Learning experience that would inspire participants through a facilitated learning process and create value for real-world social enterprises.
Impact International delivered a Community Consultancy project in which Diageo teams worked on live challenges for Green Works, FareShare and SMart, developing marketing pitches, business plans, launch ideas and sustainability strategies. The day generated tangible ideas and support for each organisation, with participants reporting that they felt energised and inspired, and partners such as FareShare noting they gained valuable ideas from Diageo’s intellectual capital.
