Case Study: Santander achieves leadership agility for digital disruption with Impact International

A Impact International Case Study

Preview of the Santander Case Study

Developing leadership agility for digital disruption

Santander, one of the UK’s leading personal financial services companies, needed to prepare its leaders for widespread organisational change in a fast-moving banking market shaped by digital disruption, new competitors and changing ways of working. The bank wanted to strengthen personal and digital leadership capabilities, build an agile culture and help leaders manage virtual teams more effectively, so it partnered with Impact International on a 12-month leadership development programme.

Impact International delivered the first and final modules of the journey, combining immersive learning, real-world challenges, virtual social learning and face-to-face experiences through the Spark and Brave New World..? modules. The programme helped participants make measurable behavioural improvements, including a 3.4% rise in participant job satisfaction, 3.8% increase in productivity, 10% improvement in direct reports feeling supported, 4.6% growth in transformational leadership skills and 5.7% increase in identity leadership.
