A Impact International Case Study

Preview of the Energus Case Study

Cyber Security Apprenticeship & Graduate Outdoor Development Programme

Energus works with the Nuclear Decommissioning Authority and employers in the nuclear industry to build the workforce of tomorrow through apprenticeships, higher-level learning and graduate programmes. To help its cyber security apprentices and graduates become more socially mobile, confident and effective in team settings, Energus partnered with Impact International to deliver a development experience focused on problem solving, communication, collaboration and personal brand.

Impact International created a three-day outdoor development programme in the English Lake District, combining challenging activities like ghyll scrambling, mountain ridge climbing and night navigation rowing with team-based learning and real-time feedback. The programme delivered strong results: 98% of participants rated it valuable, 97% said Impact added significant value, 95% gained useful insights, and 94% believed they could apply what they learned back at work.
