BAE Systems, a British multinational defence, security and aerospace company with more than 80,000 employees, wanted to strengthen its pipeline of future leaders through a revised graduate development programme. Working with Impact International, the company sought a blended learning approach that would help graduates become committed, inspired and ready to contribute across the business.

Impact International designed the Developing You Graduate Programme as a three-module, 18-month blended experience combining residential learning, live business projects, coaching, outdoor challenges, and wellbeing support. The programme improved graduate capability and cross-business collaboration, with 600+ participants rating it 4.3/5 for personal benefit, and it was a finalist for Personnel Today Awards’ “Graduate Scheme of the Year” in 2016 and 2017.
