ABN AMRO - Customer Case Study

ABN AMRO, the Netherlands-based banking group, wanted to create a powerful learning experience for its Asia Pacific Regional Finance Team so senior finance managers could tackle “meeting the business challenges head on” and strengthen client engagement through a real-life situation with direct consequences. Impact International was selected to design the learning approach.

Impact International delivered a community action learning programme built around a Community Action Project in Bangkok’s Samor-rakote community. The team completed four projects, including renovating a children’s playground, transforming a garden space and notice board, painting a bell tower, and renovating a pavilion. The initiative exceeded community expectations, inspired local residents, and helped the finance team build leadership, teamwork, cultural awareness, ownership, and time-management skills that they could transfer back to the workplace.
