A iMotions Case Study
Professor Roger Azevedo at the University of Central Florida needed to efficiently collect and synchronize data from multiple physiological sensors for his research on human learning processes. His challenge was managing various hardware systems simultaneously without losing calibration or facing synchronization issues. iMotions provided a unified software platform to integrate these biosensors.
Using iMotions, the lab integrated remote eye tracking, EEG, facial expression analysis, and GSR into a single, simplified setup. This solution accelerated research output, enabling Professor Azevedo to co-author over 30 publications. The lab also became more marketable, experiencing increased interest from students, postdocs, and other departments due to its sophisticated research capabilities. iMotions was instrumental in enabling this significant research transition.
